Apple Pie Gluten Free

Nothing says home like Apple Pie. I have a great recipe that you can use and a link to purchase the products.


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In addition to the ingredients below, you will need a cookie sheet to place the pie on when it is cooking. Otherwise, liquids will find it’s way out of the pie and into your oven.

Cooking time: 50 minutes

 

Filling

8 organic apples

¼ cup unsalted organic butter or Ghee

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon of cinnamon (You may want to add more to your taste)

¼ teaspoon ground clove

½ teaspoon nutmeg

2 teaspoons gluten free flour (I use Namaste Flour)

 

Crust

I used a gluten free piecrust that I purchased at Whole Foods (pictured below)
