The Simple Mills Brownie Mix is an already a responsibly produced recipe. It is made with almond flour which is high in protein and is a low glycemic index food. The mix is naturally sweetened with coconut sugar which contains minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium to name a few. We are allowed to enjoy the sweetness in life, and this is one way to do it and limit the harm to our bodies.
I like a moist chewy brownie. My mother taught me to add sour cream to cakes and other bake goods. In addition, I wanted to make it nutrient dense. So, I like using adaptogens which support my body being agile to the present environment. Mushroom powders support that effort. You can add all or none of these ingredients and you can also create your own.
